Sandhya Ramalingam, PhD
As Co-founder and CEO, Sandhya focuses on the strategic vision of the company. She brings two decades of client side and consulting experience to provide creative solutions. An astute leader and team builder, she brings a participative management philosophy which makes work a fun place.
Prior to founding CI Scientists, she was Vice President and Head of Delivery at Course 5i (Blueocean) where she managed all delivery and operations for the life sciences practice. In the past, she has led the Market insights group at IQVIA (IMS) and held global positions in the US (Novartis, J&J, Pfizer, MSD).
Sandhya has a PhD in molecular biology and a MS in computer sciences with several publications in peer reviewed journals. She works with non-profit organizations to spread the awareness of non-communicable diseases (Diabetes) using mHealth applications. She also loves to trek in the Himalayas.
As Co-founder and MD, Srini bring global business experience and an in-depth understanding of technology led process outsourcing to CI Scientists. Srini is passionate about being a deeply reliable partner for clients, and it is this value that he drives unrelentingly within the company.
He has worked with companies like IBM and Infosys during a 13-year career in the BPO/KPO industry based in India and North America - leading global Solution Design and Delivery functions to drive successful outsourcing of processes. He led sales and solution efforts for multiple deals including one of the largest BPO deals in IBM’s history, for which he was a Best of IBM Honoree in 2013. Previously, he spent 16 years in audit, financial and business management roles in countries like Botswana, Mauritius, Canada and India.
Srini is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BA in Economics. He is a fitness enthusiast and has varied interests like politics and global business.
As Co-founder and COO, Vivek is focused on engaging with clients to provide a seamless consulting experience. He has an excellent track record of client management and believes in the phrase “customer first”.
Prior to CI Scientists, he worked with Course 5i (Blueocean), Britannia Industries and GlaxoSmithKline Knowledge Centre (@WNS). In his previous roles, he has anchored and led several projects in competitive intelligence and forecasting across various therapy areas. His expertise spans the entire global product life cycle which helps bring in a holistic view to our solutions. He has also built and scaled up large cross-functional teams.
Vivek has an MBA in Marketing with a BS in Biotechnology. He is passionate about swimming and experimenting with different cuisines.
As Vice President – Business Development, Sara is passionate about establishing rapport and building client partnerships. She brings clarity and a strategic perspective to achieve performance goals within complex markets, by identifying innovative analytic approaches.
Sara has over 20 years experience delivering pharma business and CI insights globally within large matrix organizations and across external alliances (BMS, Novartis, Pfizer, Schering-Plough, Merck). She has led CI initiatives and market research teams for global brands in oncology, neurology, immunology, and anti-infectives.
In her spare time Sara is a cycling and alpine skiing enthusiast, enjoys trail hikes with her family and dog, and plays competitive tennis on several teams.
